This is the design for this year's Rah Cha Cha Ruckus award I title the Chachi. There were 14 categories to be given out.
Igor for the best volunteer. Won by Jeff from 1511 who kept up our website and programmed the NASA field.
Alien Invaders for the team that traveled the farthest. Which went to team 379 the Robocats from Girard, Ohio.
Voodoo Doll which went to the team with the best Autonomous mode which went to team 229 Division by Zero.
Deadheads goes to the team thought to best exemplify all the best qualities of FIRST. The award went to team 1511 Rolling Thunder.
Crypt Keeper went to the team with the best imagery. That went to team 1126 Sparx.
Spellbinder is for play of the day. That went to rookie team 3181 the Panthers from Pittsford.
Ghostbusters goes to the team that plays the best defense. That went to perennial defensive studs team 48 Delphi ELITE.
Slasher goes to the best offensive robot that went to team 1507 the Warlocks.
It's Alive! goes to the best rookie team. That went to team 3157 the Iron Lancers (waaaaaaaay better than plain old Easteridge Robotics in my opinion).
Mad Scientist goes to the most creative robot design which went to team 1551 The Grapes of Wrath and their creative use of a wine barrel in their robot design.
The Zombie award goes to the robot that has taken the most abuse but does not die (as in still runs). That went to team 3015 Ranger Robotics.
Restless Spirits goes to the team with the best team spirit. My team the X-Cats won it.
The Henchmen award goes to the runner up of the Rah Cha Cha Ruckus. Team 2228 Cougar Tech (I STILL think they should have called themselves Exponential. 2x2x2=8. It's perfect!), 1551 the Grapes of Wrath and 3173 rookie team the Igknighters from McQuaid (who ironically was the first school Xerox wanted to approach back in 1992 to partner with but they chose Wilson Magnet instead and the rest is history).
The Ruler of All They Survey Award goes to the winner of the Rah Cha Cha Ruckus. My team 191 teh X-Cats, 1511 Rolling Thunder and the girls of team 2340 Naz-Are-X (who is our sister team and I think this is their first win of any kind).
Best awards design yet in the 5 years of the Rah Cha Cha Ruckus.
Thank God I had Moonrock maker supreme Cynette to help.
She did a spectacular job.
